We challenged ourselves to build an accessible, off the shelf simulator that would change how training is delivered, and provided objective feedback and actionable insights.

Access to offshore wind turbines can be challenging due to their remote and hazardous locations, but with this realistic, fully explorable VR environment, trainees can experience both the inside and outside of a turbine firsthand from anywhere in the world.
Equipped with a VR headset, users can explore the layout, gain spatial understanding, and engage in several areas of training, including health and safety procedures and emergency evacuations. This hands-on, repeatable approach ensures greater familiarity, preparedness, and safety in a risk-free virtual setting. Additionally, data-driven after-action reviews powered by HEAT allow instructors to pinpoint areas where trainees need extra support, ensuring high performance and targeted development for optimal operational readiness.
